Part V of the Manual

Sustainability Governance

Part V of the Manual establishes the governance architecture through which every sustainability commitment in this publication is owned, measured and reviewed. Governance at NOVARIC® is not a reporting function: it is the system of decision rights, accountabilities and review cycles that determines whether commitments survive contact with commercial pressure.

Board oversight

The Board of NOVARIC® Sh.A. holds ultimate accountability for the Manual. It approves the document and each annual revision, receives quarterly sustainability performance reporting, and signs off the public sustainability statement. The Manual itself carries document ID NOVARIC-SDG-GM-001, Board-approved status and a defined annual review cycle.

Named ownership

Every material commitment — from the zero-fee recruitment standard to emissions reduction targets — is assigned a named executive owner, a measurable KPI from the 90-indicator register, and a defined review point. Commitments without an owner, a metric and a review date do not enter the Manual.

Assurance and audit

Compliance and ethics controls are subject to periodic independent audit. Audit findings are logged with corrective actions and deadlines, and closure is verified, not assumed. Regulatory non-compliance incidents carry a standing target of zero.

Policy hierarchy

The Manual sits at the top of NOVARIC®'s sustainability policy hierarchy. Subordinate policies — recruitment ethics, responsible procurement, AI governance, environmental management — derive their authority from it and must remain consistent with it.
