Why this manual exists
Ten years into the 2030 Agenda, only 35 per cent of SDG targets with data are on track or making moderate progress, nearly half are moving too slowly, and 18 per cent have regressed, according to the UN Sustainable Development Goals Report 2025. For a workforce mobility organisation, the decisive contribution is not commentary but conduct: how people are recruited, trained, placed and protected. This Manual converts that responsibility into governed, measurable commitments.
A governing instrument
Board-approved, version-controlled and annually reviewed — the Manual sits at the top of NOVARIC®'s policy hierarchy and binds every division.
Measured, not asserted
Every commitment carries a named owner and a defined indicator from the 90-KPI register. What is not measured is not claimed.
Built on recognised standards
Aligned with the UN 2030 Agenda, ILO Fair Recruitment Initiative, OECD guidelines, GRI, ESRS, ISO management standards and the EU AI Act.
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals
Each goal page presents the UN objective, the 2025 global status drawn from the UN SDG Report 2025, the European and Albanian context, and NOVARIC®'s implementation commitments and KPIs. Goals marked Priority are those where NOVARIC®'s operations carry the greatest direct influence.

What the Manual binds NOVARIC® to do
Zero candidate fees
A strict employer-pays model: candidates are never charged for recruitment, at any stage, in any market.
Decent-work quality gate
Every placement must evidence lawful terms, verified wages, compliant hours, safety and social protection before approval.
Blind first-stage screening
Name, gender, age and origin markers are removed before competency assessment, interrupting bias at source.
Pay-equity audits
Periodic audits across operations, with corrective actions owned at executive level.
PEFC-certified sourcing
Certified paper and materials wherever physical procurement is unavoidable; paperless-first elsewhere.
Paperless operations
Digital-first workflows across recruitment, training and administration, with exceptions documented.
Human oversight of AI
No high-risk AI decision is final without review by a named, accountable person.
Anti-greenwashing discipline
Every public sustainability claim is logged with its evidence before publication — including on this site.
