Green Initiative & Environmental Standards
Part X defines NOVARIC®'s environmental framework — the Green Initiative — covering operational emissions, energy, materials and travel. Its premise is measurement before claim: emissions are baselined, targets are owned at executive level, and performance is reported with progress and shortfall given equal prominence.
Measured emissions
Operational greenhouse-gas emissions are measured annually and reported through the ESG reporting cycle in line with GRI and ESRS logic. The baseline, the targets and the actuals are all disclosed in the sustainability statement.
Paperless-first operations
Digital-first workflows across recruitment, training and administration make physical paper the documented exception. Residual paper procurement must carry PEFC certification.
Energy and travel discipline
Office energy intensity per full-time equivalent is measured against annual reduction targets, with renewable-sourced tariffs preferred. Travel emissions are tracked and reduced through a travel-hierarchy policy.
Environmental management alignment
Environmental practice is aligned with ISO 14001 principles, and climate risk is integrated into the corporate risk register under Part XV.
