Responsible Procurement
Part XII extends NOVARIC®'s standards beyond its own walls. The Responsible Procurement Standard recognises that an organisation's sustainability performance includes what it buys: supplier conduct, materials sourcing and the integrity of claims made about both.
Supplier assessment
Significant suppliers are assessed against defined social and environmental criteria — labour standards, environmental management, anti-corruption — before engagement and on a cycle thereafter. Assessment coverage is a standing KPI (SUP-01).
Certified sourcing
Paper and timber-derived materials must carry PEFC certification wherever physical procurement occurs. Under the paperless-first policy, such procurement is a small, documented residual.
Claims discipline
Sustainability claims about procured goods and services must be substantiated to the same anti-greenwashing standard that governs all NOVARIC® public statements: specific, evidenced, verifiable.
